Spencer is a great cook with a special love for sauces, especially ones with a kick of spice. SSSAUCE captures everything he feels about his creations (and then some). The brand is playful, just like his cooking process: no strict measurements, just experimenting, combining ingredients, and seeing where flavor takes him.

It’s also warm, not only to reflect the heat of the spice, but to evoke the cozy, home-cooked feeling behind every bottle. I translated that warmth into the branding through rich, warm colors, bold chunky lettering, and hand-drawn illustrations.

To carry that personality even further, I designed SSSAUCE’s own custom font. After creating the logo, I realized a typeface in the same style would help spread the brand’s playful, homey character across every touchpoint.
